Political participation is best strengthened through sound political education, free from bias and emotion. The people of Ona Ara Local Government deserve serious consideration for the House of Representatives seat. This is not merely a political aspiration—it is a matter of fairness, inclusion, and justice. Since the tenure of the late Hon. Jenrade, of blessed memory, no indigene of Ona Ara has represented the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. This prolonged absence raises genuine concerns about political marginalization. To many of our people, it appears as though the votes and voices of Ona Ara no longer matter. If that were not the case, we would not have been denied this opportunity for so many years. Now is the time to correct this historic imbalance.
