The Oyo State chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has dismissed the reconciliation committee recently inaugurated by the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the initiative as a futile exercise that will fail to resolve the party's lingering internal crisis ahead of the 2027 general elections. In a statement issued by the APM Publicity Secretary, Amubode Oluwatosin, the party said the APC was embarking on a "failed mission," arguing that the reconciliation effort was "dead on arrival" because of what it described as entrenched divisions within the opposition party.
