Makinde, who stated this in a newsletter released on Thursday, noted that Nigerians won’t have a repeat of the pain and suffering they have experienced in the last eight years if PDP candidates are massively voted into positions of leadership. This comes after the executive governor, Seyi Makinde, initially suspended political activity in the state last week. Seyi Makinde, has announced the suspension of his campaign activities over the unending fuel and new naira-note crisis. Governor Seyi Makinde, whose campaign trail has visited some parts of Oyo State, said this during the Flag-off of the Omi-Adio-Ido Road on Friday. The Governor said the suspension is in solidarity with the people over anti-people economy policies of the All progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government. HOME NEWS POLITICS  Omituntun Solidarity Group Welcomes Makinde, Campaign Council To Oluyole Saturday  A sociopolitical group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, Omituntun Solidarity Group (OSG) has expressed its readiness to receive the state governor, Seyi Makinde, the deputy governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal, and the governorship Campaign Council to Oluyole local government on Saturday. The Oluyole chapter of the group while welcoming Governor Makinde to the local government also vowed to deliver bloc votes for the Governor at the March 11 governorship election.
