Ibadan North CCC Rounds off Ward-to-Ward Campaign, Seeks Massive Votes For All Its Candidates At The Polls
The Ibadan North People Democratic Party Central Campaign Council on Wednesday rounded up it party ward-to-ward campaign.
The PDP, Central Campaign Council for Ibadan North chairman, Hon. Dada Awoleye described the tour as successful. The Ward to Ward campaign commenced the ward-to-ward campaign from Ward, on February 3th, ended yesterday, Feburary 22nd.
In a brief conversation with our correspondent, Hon. Awoleye stated that the Central Campaign Council has met all her obligations towards a successful outing and political evangelism, making sure that all the electorates get familiar with the candidates, stating that he is pleased with the acceptability from the people. 
Speaking furrher, he extolled governor Makinde's visionary leadership and developmental drive in executing meaningful projects that had direct bearing on the masses, hence the major selling point to the electorate. 


Hon. Awoleye thereafer urged the electorate to come out en-masse on Saturday to massively vote for all. the PDP, having Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as president, Mogaji Olasunkanmi Tegbe as Senator and Hon. Olarenwaju Sarumi as member federal house representatives, also seemed votes for governor Seyi Makinde's second term, hon. Mrs. Olufunke Comforter Olajide and hon  Babajide Gabriel as members Oyo state house of assembly for Ibadan North constituency 1 and 2.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
