BREAKING: Makinde Lift Ban On Political Campign To Resume On Monday
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which is in power in Oyo state, has declared that its governorship political campaign will resume on Monday, February 13, 2023.
This comes after the executive governor, Seyi Makinde, initially suspended political activity in the state last week.

Following an aggressive demonstration by youths in various sections of Ibadan, Makinde had declared last week that all political campaigning would be banned.
Youths in Ibadan had flocked to the streets to protest the hardship the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) monetary policies had placed on them due to the currency swap of freshly redesigned naira notes as well as the price of petrol.
