This is not a bluff— Ilaka Holds a Candidacy worth of a Multipartisan Support in Feb. 25th Election ||Ayo Salami
I've had a pleasing view of Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka's Senate aspiration speech, summed up in a two minutes visual clip.  It was a clear demonstration of a full understanding of the widening scope of representation— patent with cutting edge issues on governance, and the realities of Nigeria as a country.
The aspiration speech is unique in a number of ways and for a number of reasons.  The speech not only provides the candidate himself, an opportunity to articulate, in most comprehensive manner, his full understanding of the Nigeria's realities— but also largely allows us qualified voters access into the inner recesses of his mind, and thus serves as a necessary compass for gauging the direction of his representation.

Ilaka's political husting has, without doubt, changed the dynamics of the senatorial race, forever! The nature of the contest, and in fact candidates individual understanding of the scope and dimension of the work of representation vis-a-vis the situation of Nigeria today, has gotten clarified !

I think so too, that the Oyo Central PDP senatorial candidate, Chief. Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka was not bluffing when he spoke about his determination to bring about what he called a major shift in terms of representation, ‘by joining progressive minded people at the level of the Nigerian_Senate to deal with existential problems of the nation, Nigeria!’ Beyond this broad husting rhetoric, he spoke specifically about his abiding faith to Nigeria and Nigerians' widest dream for Restructuring.

Absolutely— having such candidacy on the ballot, with a vehemence of political hustings that is not often seen elsewhere– the term 'representation' may now be attaining its true meaning, both in scope and dimension(s).

.....
When you elect someone, governor, or senator— you want to make sure you really know who they are !

Let's be clear about who this man, Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka is. Background check confirms he's with the life experience, the academic and professional experience, the experience in this state— He in fact has what may be regarded as the 'broader understanding of the work of representation'. His hustings since campaignings began, has been unusually brilliant and quiet appealing to an average Nigerian of qualifying age to vote in Oyo Central.

Let me be clear, Ilaka holds a candidacy that's worth of everyone's support across party lines in the district of Oyo Central. This is if candidates personal capacities vis-a-vis their manifestos and plans for the public good, still matters at all. And so if this still matters, it doesn't matter where your affiliation lies, whether to Apc, or Accord, NNPP or Labour, so long as your concerns are for the public good of both Nigeria and Oyo Central— on Saturday 25th of February, making a good choice matters above all else, and Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka represents that choice.

We must remind ourselves that the realities of today are that partisanship may not really save Nigeria from its debilitating quandary— The import of this is that it is high time the best of men among the lots of us, are recruited into the tough jobs of leadership.
