As part of the agenda of her Exellency Egnr. Mrs Olufunke Ominini Makinde encouraging women to get fully involve in politics and not just women but wives of political office holders to keep on supporting their spouse as they are determinants of whatever good or bad that they make out of office.


A sensitized programe for the wives of all the caretaker chairmen, hosted by the wife of the caretaker chairman Ona Ara, Mrs Saudat Dasola Sanusi and Mrs Kunle Balogun of Inu okan Lcda respectively

Mrs Saudat Dasola Sanusi enjoined the wives of the caretaker chairmen present at the event to always at all times give motherly advice to their husband's and never at no time pressurize them, as such actions distabiliase them at making the right decisions at work 

Further more they should never deviate from the agenda and blue prints of her Exellency Mrs Olufunke Ominini Makinde who has always put the women first in whatever she does

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
