Former Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been elected Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

As earlier reported by BOWA MEDIA Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been elected Director General of the World Trade OrgaIn the final two-man race, she polled 104 votes from 164 member countries to defeat South Korea’s Trade Minister.

Ibadan Police Raid: Group Demands Public Clarification From Oriyomi Hamzat Over Alleged Links To Arrested Suspect

A concerned group has urged Agidigbo FM CEO and Accord Party governorship aspirant, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, to publicly clarify his alleged relationship with Surajudeen Babatunde Adio, alias “Surii Ilupeju,” after a police raid in Ibadan led to multiple arrests. The call follows an Oyo State Police Command statement on an intelligence-led operation at Adio’s residence in Gbeku, Olodo, around 1:00 a.m.  According to the police, operatives stormed the location at about 1:00 a.m. based on credible intelligence, leading to the arrest of five suspects identified as Ahmed Nafiu, 43; Olukunmi Olaniyi, 36; Femi Odeyinde, 53; Jelili Akinade, 50; and Muhideen Adio, 27.
