Just In: Oyo Civil Service Commission Invites 188 Shortlisted Candidates For Interview (SEE DATE)
 
 

The Oyo state civil service commission has announced that it has shortlisted 188 candidates who made the benchmark for the recruitment of Environmental Health Officers and Technologists.

The commission through its chairman, Alhaji Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe, made this known on Tuesday in Ibadan while revealing details of the scheduled exercise to newsmen.

SEE DETAILS BELOW:

1. Wednesday, 4th November, 2020 – All candidates from Local Governments in the State, except Ibadan land.

2. Thursday, 5th November, 2020 – All candidates from Local Governments in Ibadan land.

VENUE :- Civil Service Commission Conference Room, Secretariat, Ibadan.

TIME :- 8.00 am.

NOTE :- All candidates are to appear formal with face masks, original copies of their credentials, with photocopies and other relevant documents.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
