Security: Engr.Dotun, Hon. Sanusi,  Donates Operational Vehicle, Motorcycles To Vigilante Group In Ona Ara

The Chairman of Illaji Hotels, Resorts and Sports and the caretaker chairman Ona Ara Local Government, Hon. Musibaudeen Adesina Sanusi has donated operational vehicle and motorcycles with state-of-the-art security gadgets to the joint vigilante team at the council area.


While noting that security is everyone’s business, Hon. Sanusi said the need for a joint vigilante team in Ona-Ara had become imperative due to the contiguous nature of the area at this time of security unrest in the country
 
The Council boss said that due to the overstretched men and security facilities of the Police Force and the need to complement their efforts, led to the donation of the operational vehicle to the joint vigilante team.

 
“The joint vigilante team to work in unity of purpose in order to achieve set goals of curbing insecurity in the local government. This is one in a series of proactive measures arising from the security summit organized in the local government some weeks ago


“I urge you to use this vehicle judiciously and work with the Police. When you make any arrest, hand over to the police, don’t be carried away with the job. We keep doing our best, these vigilantes need assistance”.

In his remarks, the Chairman Illaji Hotel, Resorts and Sports, commended the Chairman of Ona-Ara for fully putting his all into the betterment not the Local government and also urge the  Team to help complement the efforts of the Police in curbing criminal activities in the local government.

The leader of the Vigilante group in his remarks said "We will collaborate with the Joint Vigilante Team in the area to nip crime in the bud

 
Responding after the presentation of the vehicle, the leader of the Vigilante group expressed gratitude to the Council Chairman, Hon Sanusi and Engr Dotun Sanusi, for the donation of the operational vehicle which is a clear demonstration of his proactive approach to curbing insecurity in the area. He pledged , on behalf of his team, to put the vehicle into good use.
