Aare Latosa Council Chair Oshoniyi, Debunks Bodija Market Demolition Vidoe , Says Occupants Are In Support 
The council caretaker Chairman Hon. Kazeem Oshoniyi, today the 27th of December 2020 debunked a Vidoe circulating online on the demolition of Illegal structures marked by the local government for demolition..
But the message was totally mis-directed against the present day Government who was only demolishing the shops which already had the consent of occupants, even though (Illegal), about the said demolition and possibly getting a compensation from the council

Kazeem Oshoniyi on his Facebook page writes :

There is a particular video that is trending on social media where a certain man recorded the demolition of shops in Bodija market, one of the markets under my supervision and management as the LCDA Chairman of Aare Latosa.

For avoidance of doubt in my capacity and ability and to also put information in the proper perspective, I wish to make the following clarifications.

1. The place was never meant to be a shop. 

2. It was actually the old abattoir that the past administration of Ajimobi demolished, destroyed and relocated its occupants to Amosun Village in Akinyele Local Government

3. The remaining of the
 Ajimobi/Apc demolished buildings and slaughter slabs are what some people turned into shops.

4. We contacted and agreed with every concerned persons and relevant stakeholders on possible compensation and we are on the same page. 

5. They are fully in support of the kind of innovation, development and organization we are bringing into the market. Especially as it concerns management of public spaces.

6. The person that did the video is a well known opposition party member who wishes to play dirty politics with our good works. We will also try and engage him to join us on our developmental drive and if he still chooses to be spreading fake and unfounded news and videos around, we will do the needful and take appropriate action. 

7 The people of Oyo State are smart, intelligent and wise enough to see that the government of Oyo State under Governor Seyi Makinde is not wicked, inhumane and filled with selfish impunity like the past administration in our state.

8. My commitment is to aggressively make sure that Aare Latoosa LCDA under my watch is the pride of all and a wonder to behold, this I am committed to and I will pursue vigorously.

9. Just like my Principal and Governor, the people are my focus and priority and I will not do anything that is against the interest, growth, joy and happiness of the people.

10. I enjoin all our opposition party members to embrace civility and wisdom while engaging their criticism. Criticism should be constructive and not destructive. Beyond politics, we are all citizens and residents of this state. 

11. May Seyi Makinde succeed.

BREAKING:Talks With Federal Government Representatives Fail • No Going Back On Strike – NLC, TUC Insist

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
