CRIME: Six Days After Birthday Celebration, Popular Radio Presenter "TiTus Eja Nla" Shot Dead In Ibadan ~ BOWA MEDIA

A popular On-Air-Persoality, Titus Badejo popularly known as Eja Nla, who was formerly with Naija FM, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State has been reportedly shot dead.

Badejo also known as ‘Ejanla’, who celebrated his birthday last weekend BOWA MEDIA learnt that he was killed at a popular club at Oluyole around 9 pm.


An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity said that the assailants on face masks, 4 in number, had arrived the place on bike and had ordered everyone to lay down flat before shooting the deceased several times

As at the time of filing this report, his body has since been deposited at the morgue and efforts to speak with the Oyo State Police Public Relation Officer proved abortive.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
