Council Boss, Hon. Sanda Donates Brand New Patrol Vehicle To Curb Crime, Insist On Zero Tolerance Towards Social Vices In Egbeda LG
As part of the commitment to bring an end to crimes and social vices in Egbeda Local Government Area and our communities. The executive chairman of egbeda local government, who also doubles as the ALGON chairman in oyo state, presented a brand new Nissan Micra to DSP, Mr. Lawrence Ehindero, the Divisional Police Officer (D.P.O) Alakia-Adelubi Police Station.

Hon. Sanda while addressing news men after the presentation stated that he wants a serene and crime free environment for indigents In egbeda local government.

"You will recall that I also presented motorcycles for the men of the Egbeda Local Government Joint Security Network. These comprised of the local security forces with blend of the traditional ones, the combined of both the factional Oodua People's Congress (OPC), the Agbekoyas, the VGN, Local Hunters etcetera".

The council boss also hinted they had earlier donated sets of brand-new generators to more than 2 police station in Egbeda Local Government Area. To provide power energy for their use in case of power outage or absence of the electricity.

May God grant us the willpower to take Egbeda Local Government to greater heights and enviable and exemplary position among others, Sanda concluded.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
