OPINION: Makinde Balanced Diet Treats And A Political Nutritionists ~Tolu Adewusi
As a cell is to life, forming tissues and then organs; so is grassroots politics which we can call the Local Government, to the State, and resultantly to the Federal.

We cannot overemphasize the functions of these not so little cells in the structural implementation of political strategies.

Also, the deficiency of any cell is catastrophic to the entire body, hence the need to have all fed well and in right proportions; balanced diet.

Each stakeholder in each local government can be likened to organs, and concern for each is a concern for the entire body.

The feeding required of these organs is means of encouragement to their cells and this was effected by our dear nutritionist, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

A balanced diet is the kind of feeding we can tag the nutrition of our political structures in the Oyo State by the Leader, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde by appropriating in right proportions,  appointments of Local Government offices by ensuring to carry all stakeholders in the 33 local governments along.

The distribution has been even and fair enough, and not concentrated to some geographical, personal, or opinionated distributions serving as an encouragement to those who served in these grassroots politics without sentiments; balanced diet indeed.

Lukewarmness and nonchalant attitude are results of doubts and the fear of efforts being sabotaged, but this kind of distribution helps to resolve that by giving hope of fairness to every party member rendering services in one way or the other, resultantly greasing elbows and geometric productivity; this is the kind of distribution that gears everyone to stay committed and do more knowing that the faithful in little will be entrusted with more; this is the kind of distribution that transcends sentiments and faults, not followed by grumblings or resistance that could be justified, but by conviviality across each cell, organs, and the entire State.

God bless the exemplary and pacesetting Governor of the State,

God bless all the 33 local governments of Oyo State.

BREAKING:Talks With Federal Government Representatives Fail • No Going Back On Strike – NLC, TUC Insist

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday. The unions in a joint statement signed by Comrade Ocheme Aba, General Secretary NUATE; Comrade Frances Akinjole, Deputy General Secretary ATSSSAN; Comrade Abdul Rasaq Saidu, Secretary General ANAP and Comrade Olayinka Abioye General Secretary NAAPE directed all branches to comply.
