End-of-the-year Gift: Makinde’s Technical Assistant on New Media, Mayowa Okekale, Welcomes First Child
These are certainly beautiful times for Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State as His entire media team and, most importantly, the Family of Mr and Mrs Mayowa Joel Okekale became full fledged parents on this auspicious day, Monday 27th, 2021.
The Technical Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on New Media, Mayowa Okekale, in the early hours of Monday became a father as his beautiful and lovely wife, Omotola, delivered of a bouncing baby boy.

Mayowa, the Publisher of NewsBreakNG.com broke the good news to news men, saying "I give glory to God Almighty for his mercy and favour. 

"I am grateful to the Most High who sustained my wife all through the nine months journey and finally, the much anticipated baby, our joy has arrived."

It was gathered that both mother and Mayowa's junior are hale and hearty.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday. The unions in a joint statement signed by Comrade Ocheme Aba, General Secretary NUATE; Comrade Frances Akinjole, Deputy General Secretary ATSSSAN; Comrade Abdul Rasaq Saidu, Secretary General ANAP and Comrade Olayinka Abioye General Secretary NAAPE directed all branches to comply.
