Oyo NULGE To Conduct Election In 25 Local Governments Across The State

Oyo State chapter of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) is set to conduct branch elections that will put in place new Executives in 25 local governments.
The State President of the Union, Com. Ayobami Adeogun disclosed this today (29/3/2022) in Ibadan at the NULGE Secretariat during a briefing session with the Returning Officers, Electoral Officers and Poll Clerks that will participate in the conduct of the election.

According to Com. Adeogun, the election will hold simultaneously in 25 local branches of the Union on Wednesday, 30th March, 2022 in order to ensure free, fair and credible election.
"People of impeccable character who have served the union at various capacity at state and branch levels are carefully selected to serve as Returning and Electoral Officers" he stated.

In his brief remarks at the event, the State Secretary of NULGE, Chief Segun Netufo enjoined the Returning Officers to consider the assignment as a call to service and conduct the election with the fear of God for the betterment of the entire members of the Union in the state.

According to Chief Netufo, the elected branch Chairmen are expected to present their acceptance speech after  declaration of election result while the official joint inauguration which will hold at NULGE House will be announced later.
