2023: PDP Youth Wing In Ibadan North LG Holds Youth Summit, Drums Support For Makinde Second Term Bid
The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Wing in Ibadan North Local Government held its local government youths summit on April 27th, 2022, tagged" The Purpose Of Youths In Politics" youths in Ibadan north local government of the state have declared support for the incumbent Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for another term in office in the 2023 general elections.
The YOUTH WING, under the umbrella of the PDP yesterday, gave the endorsement to Governor Seyi Makinde, with a thousand match to the State Secretariat in ibadan and had its indoor Programme at Alice Place event center.
Hon. Deji Dipo who led a thousand of youths, in their numbers, said that the youths unanimously endorsed, Governor Makinde based on his several achievements and pedigree in delivering dividends of democracy to the teeming populace, especially the youths.

The Ibadan north local government PDP youths wing hailed the governor for his diligence in handling state affairs, economic matters and with the involvement of youths in his cabinet. 
Describing the governor as an advocate of human capital development who did not only engage the youths alone but ensuring that there is voice for all, 


“Therefore, having performed wonderfully well in his first tenure, 2019-2023, the vibrant youths of Ibadan north local government gave a deserving nod to our Governor, Makinde, the man of the people and advocate of human capital to represent us for another four years.

Political dignitaries who graced the occasion were Hon. Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim ‘Bibire’. Special adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on local government and chieftaincy matters, Prince Seun Adelore, PDP Chairman Ibadan north local government, Hon. Omilabu Gandi, Mr. Michael Ogunsina. The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
