2023: Tosin Gboye Gets Provisional Clearence To Contest As Constituents Drums Support  
Constituents of Ibadan North Constituency 2 on Thursday declared their support for   The House of Assembly Hopeful, Ibadan North Constituency 2, Hon. Makanjuola Oluwatosin popularly known as Tosin Gboye and equally seek the support of His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde for their candidate as they  declared support for the second term of Engr. Oluseyi Makinde.  
Tosin Gboye who appeared before the PDP screening committee on Wednesday has been cleared to contest at the primary election of the party coming up in May.
The residents confirmed that Tosin Gboye being a bonafide Indigene of Ibadan and resident of Ibadan North Constituency 2 is eminently qualified and seek the support of all and sundry to make this aspiration a success for the greater good of the people of Ibadan North Constituency 2. 
According to the constituents, Tosin Gboye being the son of the late leader in the local government, Hon. Makanjuola Adegboyega Abdulwasiu aka Gboye Ibo will sustain and build on the legacy of his family, and will make the Local Government and constituency stand out in the State.

Also, Tosin Gboye commended Engr. Oluseyi Makinde for building Oyo State Infrastructures to meet more standard, as this is evident in the recently commissioned Bus Tarminals and other road networks commissioned and on-going throughout the State.

BREAKING:Talks With Federal Government Representatives Fail • No Going Back On Strike – NLC, TUC Insist

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday. The unions in a joint statement signed by Comrade Ocheme Aba, General Secretary NUATE; Comrade Frances Akinjole, Deputy General Secretary ATSSSAN; Comrade Abdul Rasaq Saidu, Secretary General ANAP and Comrade Olayinka Abioye General Secretary NAAPE directed all branches to comply.
