Aseyin To Be Buried On Monday
...As Family Announces Departure Of Oba Adekunle Ajinese 1


The Family of late Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Abdulganiy Adekunle Ajinese 1 has announced burial date the monarch.

This online newspaper reports that the entire Aseyin Royal Family regrets to announce the transition of our father and Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Dr. Abdulganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi Ajinese 1, which happened on the wee hours of Sunday, the 24th July, 2022 after a protracted illness.

The development according to a press release signed by Prince Femi Olalere, the Secretary of Aseyin Royal Family, dated Sunday 24th July, 2022 stated that Oba Adekunle Ajinese 1 whose demise came after spending sixty-two (62) years on earth and fifteen (15) years on the throne will be buried on Monday 25th July, 2022.

The entire Aseyin Royal family appreciates the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy, Mr. Bayo Lawal for their support during his illness. God Almighty will continue to bless and see them through.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday.
