Seyi Makinde: People's Oriented Governance ~ Akintekun Joseph Oluseun
"To dare is to do..."
Governor Seyi Makinde (GSM) came in at the reign of a garrulous constituted authority, an emperor who was tormenting both the workers, young and the old. Money wasn't in circulation since the salary wasn't regular, retirees were crying and dying, and at such a turbulent time came a God-sent man.
Governor Seyi Makinde dared all odds and obstacles to prepare himself for the real journey ahead and battled it out with the emperor who was trying to install another failure to continue from where he stopped in his face of inhuman governance.

To God Almighty be the Glory, the wishes of the people became a reality by electing a man with human feelings.
Do you want to know how important people's feelings are? Do you want to see how Governor Makinde did all that is necessary to place the mass's feelings first?
Then sit tight and let me take you on a journey of good governance in Oyo State.

Applying oil to the wound of the masses was the first step he took as his government was aware of what transpired with the state’s workforce in the eight years of the past administration, hence making sure he set the record straight, never to go the path of suffering the workers. He made sure Salaries were paid as when due, which enabled workers to buy and pay for foodstuff as against credit buying as seen in the past administration, this giant stride enabled the market men and women to buy more goods and make more money thereby, creating smiling faces between the workers and traders unlike the, "Sell for me on credit" that was experienced in the past administration.

State workers with dependants looking up to them were put in sorrow with no hope in view as the former administration's Governor sacked some of them but on the inception of the present administration, the Governor machine revived their hope to live by reinstating many of them back to work.

Retirees: Oyo state retirees and aged ones were in pain due to what they passed through in the hands of the emperor, but to the glory of God, GSM seeing them as a blessing to the state vowed that they must not suffer at old age to the extent of pledging his Salary to the Pensioners during his swearing-in Ceremony.
He further prioritized issues relating to retirees and made sure they got their gratuities and pensions and they are all happy with the God Sent Man.

Employment: a lot of our youths that were roaming about with certificates but no jobs were employed in Teaching appointments, Oyo State Hospital Management Board also absorbed Nurses, Doctors, Laboratory Scientists/Medical LaboratoryTechnicians, Records Attendants e.t.c.
Also employed are 1,500 able-bodied men and women for Amotekun Corps, and more.

Covid19: it was a journey that would have crippled Oyo State's economy but we have a God Sent Man whose template was later adopted by the  Federal Government. The effect of total lockdown would have been much on the people of Oyo state and the Governor who believes in  Science,  Logic, and reasoning while thinking about the side of the masses declared a partial lockdown to enable the citizens to do their legitimate businesses knowing that he couldn't just declare a total lockdown without providing what the masses will eat and preventing them from working daily.

Gov. Makinde's human feelings and love for the masses set him apart; he's working with the fear of God; let us support him for another term as Oyo State Governor to enable him to continue his masses-oriented program to take Oyo State to the promised land.

GSM, ore ara ilu.

May Governor Seyi Makinde Succeed. Amen
