Oyo ALGON Felicitate Oyo Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftains Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye On Birthday Anniversary
The Association Of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Oyo State, has written to congratulate the commissioner for local government and chieftains, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye as he celebrates another age attainment 
Hon. Sikiru Sanda, the ALGON chairman through the public relations officer, Hon. Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe ) conveyed warm felicitations to barrister Olasunkanmi and prayed that God grants him many more years of commendable service to the people of Oyo state and Nigeria.

“On behalf of ALGON, Oyo State, the wonderful people of the state, I write to express warm felicitations to you on the landmark occasion of your birthday anniversary, sir.
“As you deservedly celebrate this glorious day, it is my prayer that Almighty God, who has richly prospered you and ordered your every step this past year, will continue to bless you with good health and fulfillment in the many more years of worthy service ahead of you,” ALGON wrote according to a statement by its public relation officer, Yusuff Sahib Oladayo.

They wished Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye happy birthday, and celebrations.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. The development followed the decision of the unions after a four-hour meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly on Sunday evening in Abuja ended in a deadlock “For now, we don’t have the power to call off the strike, tomorrow (Monday) morning, the strike will kick off as we take their (NASS) plea asking us to call off the strike to our various organs,” said Festus Osifo after the meeting with NASS leadership. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE). It was learnt that they took the decision after an emergency meeting held on Sunday. The unions in a joint statement signed by Comrade Ocheme Aba, General Secretary NUATE; Comrade Frances Akinjole, Deputy General Secretary ATSSSAN; Comrade Abdul Rasaq Saidu, Secretary General ANAP and Comrade Olayinka Abioye General Secretary NAAPE directed all branches to comply.
