2023: Afijio farm Settlers, Okediji Traders, Agro-allied Association, Others, Drum Support for Kamil Akinlabi

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Oyo Federal constituency, the campaign hit Afijio local government area on Tuesday, Okediji market traders, farm settlers, agro-allied farmers association, Opeloyeru community, have assured Honourable Mudashir Kamil Akinlabi and all PDP candidates of their votes at next month’s general election.
The campaign train was led by the Director-general Alhaji Musediq Raji and Afijio state PDP candidate, Hon Deji Oparinde, where the royal blessing was done by Akibio of Ilora land, Oba Stephen Oparinde Ilufemiloye, Gbadewolu 1.
While speaking at the consultative session, Mr. Iwinyemi Olusegun, chairman of Oyo zone Agro-allied and Okediji market traders assured the house of representatives candidate of their support, stating that “power comes from God and God has destined you to return-elect, to the green chamber, no human being can change it. You have been there before (between 2007-2015) and we all can attest to what you did for Afijio local government area, we're one of the beneficiaries of your scholarship program as house of representative members. We are here for you and will do the needful to return you to the green chamber.
Also, Mr. Aderibigbe Fatai, chairman of Ilora farm settlement reiterated support for Gov. Seyi Makinde's administration in Oyo state, adding that a wise man will understand the fact that a vote for PDP across the board would guarantee economic recovery, employment of men and women, the solution to insecurity, development of agriculture and productive standard of living while APC are an agent of deceit, as well as the enemy of the masses in all ramifications.

He further affirmed that Kamil Akinlabi and Deji Oparinde is a renowned name in Oyo federal constituency and the farm settlers are ready to canvass, mobilize, supports, and votes for PDP across the board. He now used the medium to tender the needs of the farm settlers like motorized Borehole Water, Solar light, asphalt tarred farm roads, Tractors for farm work, and juicy political appointments.

He also solicits for resuscitation of Silo in the settlement, provision of fertilizers, farm inputs, and others.
The Afijio local government PDP Party chairman, Hon Derinola Adedeji, admonished Ilora resident and the settlers to mobilize across polling units for PDP, adding that Akinlabi is a former lawmaker who understand the needs of the masses in terms of the standard of living and other amenities cum employment of men and women.

In his word, the former council chairman and Afijio PDP leadleaderlabi (a.k ann Owo blow) reiterated the fact that their votes for PDP remain the strong weapon for great development and dividends of democracy. "Don't share your destiny, your votes are the future of your children's votes PDP from top to bottom".

Equally, Hon Kayode Adio, chairman Ilora development association in his word, added that the moribund farm settlement will return to normalcy as well as renamed FARM ESTATE by Gov Seyi Makinde, the road from Ilora-farm settlement- Ojutaye will link money- Iseyin road, it will be done by the state government and world bank. He urged the farmers and andidentthe soothe the settlement to vote for r e PDP across the board and not to separate votes.

In his remarks, Hon Mudashir Kamil nabi,reci recites support for his ambition, he described the Afijio people as unique human beings, foresight, and resourceful. 

He promised to run an all-inclusive and people-centered representation, where every constituent, irrespective of tribe and religion is carried along in the developmental journey of the Oyo federal constituency and the State at large.

While recalling his skill acquisition center in Jobele, Borehole dug in Ilora and other empowerment and scholarship provided, he urged them to vote for Hon Deji Oparinde, Seyi Makinde, and all PDP candidates

"We'll make Oyo federal constituency become an industrial triangular hub, economic development and productive ways of living" he promised.

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC have insisted that there is no going back on the nationwide industrial action slated to commence on Monday, June 3, 2024. Strike: Aviation Unions To Shut Local, International Airports

In compliance with the indefinite strike declared by the organised labour, aviation unions have directed members to withdraw services across airports in Nigeria. The withdrawal would take effect by 12:00 am on Monday June 3, the unions declared. The unions include the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE).
