Bowa Media Publisher, Wale Bodija Appointed As Director of Media and Publicity For Makinde's Re-election In Ibadan North LG 
The publisher of BowaMedia, an online news platform, Mr. Wale Bodija has been appointed as Media Director for governor Makinde's re-election campaign in Ibadan North local government.
Bodija's appointment was contained in a statement released to the press by Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, the local government campaign director general.

The statement says the appointment takes effect from January 25, 2023.
As the director general of media and publicity, Bodija is expected to oversee the day-in and day-out of campaign activities and other related platforms.

Until his appointment, Bodija is the publisher of Bowamedia.com, an online news disseminating platform, and also serves as the Special Assistant, Media, and Publicity to the Local Government Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government.

A concerned group has urged Agidigbo FM CEO and Accord Party governorship aspirant, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, to publicly clarify his alleged relationship with Surajudeen Babatunde Adio, alias “Surii Ilupeju,” after a police raid in Ibadan led to multiple arrests. The call follows an Oyo State Police Command statement on an intelligence-led operation at Adio’s residence in Gbeku, Olodo, around 1:00 a.m.  According to the police, operatives stormed the location at about 1:00 a.m. based on credible intelligence, leading to the arrest of five suspects identified as Ahmed Nafiu, 43; Olukunmi Olaniyi, 36; Femi Odeyinde, 53; Jelili Akinade, 50; and Muhideen Adio, 27.
