Democracy Must Deliver Tangible Benefits — KSA Charges Leaders, Citizens

The Allied People's Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA), has called for greater commitment to the ideals of democracy, emphasizing that democratic governance must continue to deliver hope, development, and opportunities to Nigerians.
KSA made the call in a statement issued by his Media Group on Friday to mark the 2026 Democracy Day celebration. He described June 12 as a significant milestone in Nigeria's democratic journey and a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by heroes who fought for the enthronement and sustenance of democratic governance in the country.

According to him, Democracy Day serves not only as a celebration of the nation's democratic achievements but also as an opportunity for leaders at all levels to renew their commitment to good governance, accountability, and the welfare of the people.
He urged citizens to continue supporting democratic institutions and actively participate in the democratic process, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved through collective responsibility and effective leadership.

KSA also called on elected officials to prioritize policies and programmes that improve the living standards of the people, noting that democracy must translate into tangible benefits for all Nigerians.

He reaffirmed his commitment to promoting people-oriented initiatives and contributing to the development of Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency and the nation at large.
