Father’s Day: Akintayo Salutes Fathers, Describes Makinde as a Father Figure

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North-East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (popularly known as O mu Yes), has felicitated with fathers across Ibadan North-East Local Government, Oyo State and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Father’s Day.
He described fathers as pillars of strength, discipline, sacrifice and leadership in families and society, noting that their roles remain vital to the stability and development of the community and the nation at large.

Hon. Akintayo also appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, describing him as a father figure and exemplary leader whose people-oriented governance, wisdom and commitment to the welfare of the people continue to inspire confidence and progress across the state.
On behalf of the Legislative Council, Supervisors, Special Assistants, traditional rulers, religious leaders, community leaders and the entire people of Ibadan North-East Local Government, the Chairman extended warm Father’s Day greetings to all fathers, appreciating their sacrifices, resilience and dedication to family and societal growth.

He prayed that God Almighty will continue to bless fathers with good health, wisdom, long life and prosperity, and grant them the strength to continue being worthy role models in their various communities.

The Chairman further encouraged fathers to remain steadfast in promoting peace, unity and moral values that strengthen families and society.

He wished all fathers a happy Father’s Day celebration.
