Month Of June: Olufade Urges Residents To Keep Hope Alive, Prays For Peace Across Nigeria


The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has felicitated residents of the local government on the commencement of the month of June, urging them to remain hopeful, united, and committed to the collective progress of Ibadan North, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.



In a New Month message made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Olufade expressed gratitude to God for preserving the lives of residents and granting them the opportunity to witness a new month.


The council chairman called on the people to sustain their faith in a brighter future and continue supporting initiatives aimed at fostering development, peace, and prosperity within the local government and beyond.


While expressing concern over the recent security challenges in parts of the state, Olufade specifically prayed for the safety and swift release of the victims kidnapped in Oriire Local Government, urging residents to remain steadfast in prayers and support efforts geared towards ensuring their safe return.


He also offered prayers for lasting peace, security, and tranquility across Oyo State and Nigeria, noting that national development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and stability.


According to him, "As we enter the month of June, I encourage our people to remain positive and optimistic.


Together, we can continue to build a stronger Ibadan North, a more prosperous Oyo State, and a greater Nigeria.


My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the unfortunate kidnapping incident in Oriire Local Government and their families.



I pray for their safe rescue and speedy reunion with their loved ones."



Olufade further reassured residents of his administration's unwavering commitment to delivering quality governance, implementing people-oriented programmes, and pursuing developmental projects that will improve the welfare of citizens across all wards of the local government.



The chairman expressed confidence that with continued cooperation between the government and the people, Ibadan North would witness greater achievements in the months ahead.



He concluded by wishing all residents a peaceful, productive, and prosperous month of June.
